CRN’s BlogHer outreach a success
Check out these photos from the popular event, #BlogHer16: Experts Among Us, the largest conference worldwide that brings together female bloggers, that took place in Los Angeles, Aug. 4–6. Here, CRN’s Communications team, along with CRN’s Duffy MacKay, N.D., was on site to increase awareness of the role dietary supplements play in a healthy lifestyle and connect with today’s content creators and online influencers. Vitamin Angels Founder & President Howard Schiffer spoke to “the power of vitamins” during his featured spot at CRN’s special event, “Get Healthy; Get Wise,” during #BlogHer16. Talking to a select group of 25 bloggers, he shared the successful ways that the charitable organization saves the lives of women and children around the world by providing vitamins to those who are malnourished.

CRN showcased eight rotating wellness ambassadors—including CRN’s Duffy MacKay, N.D. (shown here answering questions from a blogger visiting the booth)—at its sponsored booth during BlogHer16. Two CRN members—Herbalife (Platinum Sponsor) and Garden of Life—also had booth space at the show, and another, SmartyPants, was a Bronze Sponsor.

Wellness ambassadors, (left) Felice Gersh, M.D. and (right) Wendy Bazilian, DrPH, R.D., flanked CRN’s Duffy MacKay during the panel portion of CRN’s special event at BlogHer16. The panel focused on the role of dietary supplements within four “hot wellness topics”—pregnancy, sports nutrition, gut health, the importance of sleep. The session was topped with the health experts providing tips on supplementing, followed by a Q&A period.
