Metagenics welcomes congressman to Washington facility

CRN member Metagenics hosted Rep. Derek Kilmer (D-WA) at its Gig Harbor, Washington, facility earlier this month, furthering CRN’s goal to connect elected officials with the dietary supplement industry. As Gig Harbor’s largest employer, Metagenics gave Rep. Kilmer a peek into its daily operations—practices that earned the company the Washington State Recycling Association's (WSRA) Large Business Generator Recycler of the Year award in 2014. Hosting elected officials at company facilities is an opportunity to provide them with a closer look behind the scenes of the industry, to show them GMPs in practice, and to bring to light the attention to quality that goes into manufacturing products.
