Senator visits CRN member company at entrepreneurship center
U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) recently visited with CRN member company Stratum Nutrition at the eFactory at Missouri State University, an entrepreneurship center supported by Stratum joint venture partner ESM Ingredients, along with other companies, to encourage innovation and help entrepreneurs and businesses in southwest Missouri start, grow, and accelerate their companies. (See the eFactory’s April 22 tweet).
Sen. Blunt heard about the value of dietary supplements and Stratum/ESM’s impact on constituent health and wellness as well as economic growth, from Micah Osborne, president of Stratum Nutrition and Mary Becker, digital marketing coordinator for Stratum Nutrition, pictured here with Missouri State University President Clif Smart.
CRN encourages its member companies to meet with their elected officials back in the state for facility tours, district meetings, townhall discussions and engagement at other local events. (Recent highlights include Nutramax and Pharmavite.) CRN can help its members organize these visits, which position the responsible dietary supplement industry positively by spotlighting the popularity, benefits, quality and safety of dietary supplement and functional food products and the industry’s role in strong economies.
