Dr. Dickinson, CRN’s founding staff member and former president, was a true pioneer for dietary supplements, leading the formation of the responsible industry we know today—a true game changer.

MORE ABOUT THE ANNETTE DICKINSON TRAILBLAZER AWARD

Award & Recognition:

The recipient of the Trailblazer Award will be honored with:

  • Ceremonial recognition at CRN’s CONVERGENCE ‘25 event, Oct. 8–10 in St. Louis and award keepsake
  • Travel stipend to the event 
  • Complimentary registration and two hotel nights for CRN's CONVERGENCE ‘25 
  • $1,000 grant to support career development or a nonprofit of the winner’s choosing 

Evaluating nominations:

A judging panel of five will review all eligible nominations submitted through CRN’s platform—opening May 1. Five finalists will be selected and promoted across CRN’s digital channels and with members anonymously voting via weblink to select the honoree.

Nomination Criteria:

Nominees must be affiliated with a CRN Voting Member company. Only CRN members can submit nominations. Nominations will be evaluated with consideration of the following:

  • Leadership: Redefining influence through action, impact, and mentorship; spearheading initiatives that significantly enhance the landscape to develop others in executive, scientific, and leadership roles. 

    Demonstrates bold leadership by driving initiatives that elevate the industry and empower others in their own leadership journeys. These individuals foster opportunities for growth in executive, scientific, and operational roles—not through title alone, but through meaningful impact. Their influence transcends position; they are redefining what leadership looks like in our evolving industry.
     
  • Innovation: Catalyzing change through bold product, scientific, or strategic breakthroughs that address real consumer needs; shifting paradigms and moving the industry forward through disruptive ideas and bold execution.

    Champions groundbreaking development in products, services, or research that meaningfully address consumer health and wellness. These changemakers are disrupting the status quo, shifting paradigms, and moving the industry forward through transformative ideas and bold execution.
     
  • Advocacy: Advancing policies and mindsets that support innovation, public health, and industry accountability; igniting momentum, inspire action, and spark ripple effects that extend far beyond their own organizations.

    Actively advances the industry through advocacy that creates lasting impact—from securing support for critical research to building public awareness and shaping a forward-thinking culture. These leaders don’t just influence policy—they ignite momentum, inspire action, and spark ripple effects that extend far beyond their own organizations.
