REGULATORY FACT: Supplement-specific good manufacturing practices (GMPs) rules were released by FDA in June 2007, setting specific requirements for the manufacturing processes of vitamins, minerals, herbs and botanicals, amino acids and all other dietary supplements. All companies manufacturing dietary supplements must comply with GMPs.
