CRN and ASN Foundation Program for Scholars
Funding is needed to sustain the CRN and ASNF Program for Scholars (CAPS), presented in collaboration with the American Society for Nutrition Foundation.
CAPS provides ASN graduate student members with educational scholarships to attend CRN’s “Science in Session” annual event which is held in conjunction with our annual conference. Among CRN’s education initiatives, CAPS is the only program that reaches aspiring nutrition professionals.
Interest in this scholarship is growing, with 23 applications submitted this year for 2 awards. Without additional funding, we will have to discontinue CAPS in 2026.
Cost: Any amount is appreciated. The cost of supporting one graduate student awardee is $2,000. Pledge your support via this form or contact CRN with questions.
2026 ACOG Clinical and Scientific Meeting
The 2026 American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Clinical and Scientific Meeting (ACSM) will be held May 1–3 in Washington, DC. This event provides learning and networking opportunities “for those committed to providing exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care.” Over 4,000 individuals attend ACSM annually. As in 2024 and 2025, the CRN Foundation plans to participate in the meeting to spread awareness about the role dietary supplements play in prenatal nutrition. Our planned initiatives include:
- A sponsored educational session (“product theater”) featuring speakers and topics agreed upon by participating members.
- An educational booth, the CRN Foundation Prenatal Nutrition Center, providing resources on nutritional needs during pregnancy and prenatal supplementation. Scientists from CRN and member companies will staff the booth.
Space for eight: The opportunity to participate in the CRN Foundation’s ACOG initiative is limited to eight CRN member companies in 2026. Currently, only two spots remain.
Cost: The cost associated with participating will depend on the number of participants and program design. We expect the cost will not exceed $20,000 per company in 2026. Pledge your support via this form or contact CRN with questions.

Updates to chapters from CRN’s Vitamin and Mineral Safety Handbook, last published in 2014, are in progress. This initiative is being funded through a grant from the CRN Foundation. The majority of the funding for this project will come from tax-deductible donations from members, who can support individual chapters of interest or contribute to a general fund.
Cost: Donations in any amount are appreciated. To provide feedback on draft chapters, we ask for a minimum donation of $10,000 per chapter.
