Empowerment with evidence-based education

And an exciting evolution

To retain standout talent and meet the dynamic and evolving needs of the natural products industry, it’s critical to nurture the next generation of evidence-based leaders. The Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM), joining CRN this year as an associate member, is dedicated to teaching holistic and natural approaches to medicine and health sciences.

"We are honored to be the first academic institution to become a member of CRN,” said Dr. Gena Kadar, DC, MS.MEdL, CNS, School of Nutrition Dean, at SCNM. “Our involvement ensures we keep a pulse on the evolving needs of the natural products industry and its impact on the clinicians, researchers, students, patients, and clients we serve."

SCNM is the only institution to offer a master’s degree program developed exclusively for working professionals in the natural products industry. The Executive Master of Science in Nutrition Business Leadership (MSNBL) degree grants students access to industry insiders, opportunities to work in close-knit teams with maximum individualized attention from faculty, and engages students in practical and relevant training that can be applied immediately in the workplace.

"Our evidence-based educational programs are uniquely tailored to meet the industry’s nutritional science, regulatory, sustainability, and leadership priorities,” said Dr. Kadar. “We are here to support the professional development needs of our fellow member institutions."

Crafted with input from global experts and thought leaders, the MSNBL empowers a new generation with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to add immediate value to their organization with a keen eye on the quadruple bottom line—people, planet, profit, and purpose.

What’s next: SCNM is proud to announce it will evolve to Sonoran University of Health Sciences on Sept. 26.
