CRN Invites Dietary Supplement Industry Professionals to ‘Build Responsibly’ at 2026 Signature Events

Registration now open for SciComms Connect, Innovation Exchange, and CONVERGENCE ‘26, Oct. 6–8 at the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa


Washington, D.C.—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the leading trade association for the dietary supplement and functional food industry, today announced the opening of early-bird registration for its 2026 signature events, taking place Oct. 6–8 at the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. CRN’s signature events will bring together industry leaders spanning science, communications, marketing, regulatory affairs, and business strategy under the theme “Build Responsibly,” highlighting that the principles of science, transparency, and accountability uniting the event content are foundational to the future growth of the dietary supplement and functional food industry and its ability to best serve consumers.

The 2026 event lineup includes:

  • SciComms Connect: Bridging Science and Marketing to Advance Women’s Vitality (Oct. 6 morning kick off)
  • Innovation Exchange (Oct. 6 afternoon)
  • CONVERGENCE ‘26 (Oct. 7–8)


New this year, SciComms Connect will convene experts in research, product development, communications, and marketing to explore how science can be responsibly translated into dietary supplements and functional foods designed for women. Sessions will focus on active lifestyle nutrition, whole-body vitality, menopause and successful aging, and strategies for communicating women’s health science credibly and effectively.

Innovation Exchange will follow on the afternoon of Oct. 6, featuring a steering-committee-selected lineup of 20-minute presentations spotlighting emerging research, ingredients, and technology shaping the future of the industry. Innovation Exchange is complimentary for SciComms Connect and CONVERGENCE attendees.

CRN’s main CONVERGENCE ‘26 business conference will take place Oct. 7–8 and will feature thought-provoking panel discussions, market insights, inspiring keynotes and opportunities for high-value dialog with industry peers in a relaxed, collegial setting.
