Washington, D.C., November 12, 2019—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the leading trade association for the dietary supplement and functional food industry, today announced four new companies have joined the association’s membership ranks. These companies include: Voting Members—Genesee Nutrition; Hilma; and Natures Crops International; and Associate Member— Faegre Baker Daniels LLP.

Genesee Nutrition is a CBD health and wellness company that provides CBD-infused sports nutrition products to promote a healthy, active, and happy lifestyle for all. Based in Colorado, the company’s products include hemp-infused plant-based protein powders, protein bars and wellness shots.
Hilma
Hilma develops natural, herbal-based remedies. The company will launch in January 2020 with the aim of making herbals more accessible to a mainstream customer, who has embraced natural products in food, beauty, and household items. Hilma only uses clinically researched ingredients, formulates with clinicians, and invests in their own clinical research. They are a venture capital backed company.
Natures Crops International
Natures Crops International is a vertically integrated natural products ingredient business from “soil to oil.” The company manufactures a range of high value specialty oils and contracts specialty crops with international farmers to commercialize new and biodiverse plant species, and develop regenerative, traceable, sustainable and risk-mitigated supply chains. Natures Crops International’s products supply the personal care, food and supplement industries with safe, functional ingredients with scientific validation and regulatory approval.
