Proper nutrition is foundational for a healthy pregnancy, but many patients fall short of key nutrients. This session, Optimizing Prenatal Nutrition and Supplementation: Evidence-Informed Strategies in Clinical Practice, will highlight nutrient gaps and explain the role of nutrients in prenatal supplementation. Notably, the session will include evidence for vitamins and minerals, along with information on choline, DHA, lutein and zeaxanthin, and how they help ensure the best outcomes for moms and babies throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
Clinicians will be equipped with evidence-informed insights that can be applied in everyday practice. This will include a deeper understanding of key nutrients, their synergistic interactions, and how to address nutritionally relevant questions.
