Contribute to CRN's Vitamin and Mineral Safety book updates

CRN released a newly revised Vitamin and Mineral Safety book chapter for magnesium, raising its recommended safe upper level (UL) for magnesium supplements to 500 milligrams per day for healthy adults, based on new human clinical data showing that higher levels are well tolerated. This adds to the previously announced updates to the renowned handbook.

  • ICYMI: CRN’s Supplement Source podcast discussed how the handbook became a scientific cornerstone in the fight against overly conservative regulations, and why updating it is more crucial than ever.

Members are invited to contribute to updates of additional chapters through a tax-deductible donation to the CRN Foundation.
