APRIL 3, 2024 – CRN announced today that it has filed an emergency motion seeking to prevent enforcement by the New York State Attorney General of a new law passed in 2023 that will age-restrict the sale of certain dietary supplements.

MARCH 13, 2024 – CRN today announced the filing of a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of a recently enacted New York law that would restrict consumer access to safe and beneficial health products. The suit seeks an injunction to prohibit the enforcement of new age-based restrictions on the purchase of certain dietary supplements in the state of New York.

MARCH 4, 2024 – CRN will host its annual conference, CONVERGENCE ’24, in Salt Lake City on Wednesday–Friday, October 9–11, at the Grand America Hotel. The gathering will commence with its Science in Session symposium and WellComms workshop on Wednesday, followed by the main conference targeting the entire C-suite of industry stakeholders beginning that evening and continuing on October 10 and 11.

JANUARY 29, 2024 – Five of the major trade associations representing the dietary supplements industry today announced their unified support of the re-establishment of the Congressional Dietary Supplement Caucus. The caucus’ request for registration as a Congressional Member Organization for the 118th Congress was led by co-chairs Rep. John Curtis (R-UT) and Rep. Tony Cárdenas (D-CA).

JANUARY 23, 2024 – CRN has released its updated economic impact study (EIS) which provides a comprehensive analysis of the fiscal benefit the supplement industry contributes to the U.S. economy. The report reveals the industry’s positive impact on jobs, wages, taxes and other financial contributions in all 50 states, and in Congressional districts.

JANUARY 17, 2024 – The CRN Foundation announced today the relaunch of its Vitamin D & Me!® website as an educational site for consumers to learn about the broad importance of vitamin D in health and wellness, transitioning from its original purpose as a source of information on vitamin D in relationship to COVID-19 and immune health. The website was launched in May 2021 during the height of the COVID pandemic as a public education site on the nutrient, providing research, news, and health information.
